Desertification public service campaign pitch

The growing issue of desertification in places like Asia and Africa has little awareness in Australia. the public service campaign's is pushed a lot less then some issues that are closer to home, and so the problem is less campaigned.

A)
this is by far this is the most popular public awareness campaign if you were to search for desertification this would be a close first. this is showing the wasteing away of the leopard along with the land. its very clever becuase of its artistic value and its simplicity.

B)
This comes with the shock value of this planets inactivity for this issue it shows more information then the previous. a more 'real' approach with the dead bird on the ground and the bare bone trees.

C)
This is a lot more obviously a public awareness for a confrences this is a lot like the others because there were'nt any comedic public awarness campaign but it does show you the reality verseus the fantasy.

Design Brief-Term 4

What am I making? 

Im making a public service campaign in which I will be pushing the reality of desertification which is is a type of land degradation in which a relatively dry land region becomes increasingly arid. the plan is to make a poster to push the idea and a T-shirt to increase recognition for the issue.

Who am I making it for?

I am making this for the uninformed in year 8 of our school.

Why is the thing I'm making important?

because our planet is in trouble with the major issue of desertification which is when a area becomes increasingly more arid typically losing its bodies of water as well as vegetation and wildlife. It is caused by a variety of factors, such as climate change and human activities.

How will I know my design is successful?

with happy lands and people aware of the issue and the world is currently  40-41% covered in desert and if i can inspire someone to help reducesing that,

My ambitions

i have set off on a very ambitious project after redoing the story with 4 diffrent stories with sub stories in those making it very hard to be evaluated. But its extremly fun to do so, my game now is based around 4 factions in a struggle for power

The issues I encountered

i have made a way to see the stats and effect them but to properly effect them in a combat sort of way would be incredibly difficult from were i stand right now, but i will endeavour to improve the game.

DESIGN BRIEF

What?: I am remaking a board game and i am trying to bring it to the modern age, I will be remaking dungeons and dragons.

How?: I am going to make a digital version of dungeons and dragons through programming on notepad.

Who?: its for all the nerds who love D&D but can't get a group together to play.

Harrison's and mine plane: the Autisms (he chose the name)

our planes plan was to make a small plane that would FLY!!!!

we first made our plane with a 17cm body and 16.5 long wings, a 8 by 2 back wing and a oval spear head on the front 5 by 3. 

this was a sort of successful plane but not up to a competitive standard so we made certain improvements/adjustments.

Adjustments:

a second pair on wings underneath the plane. 

we made the wings 20 by 2.7 

blue stack on the front to weigh down the front.

this has helped our plane fly greatly and our final model is here:

when we tested our planes ,our plane claimed victory!
